When I think of Summer I think of camping, and while that may have not happened this year, I was able to find this delicious and fun drink that embodies all of that. This flaming cocktail not only tastes just like a S’more, but you can actually roast a few marshmallows over it when you set it on fire!

There isn’t a lot better than a S’more. For me, it’s all about the ritual of sitting in front of a campfire and watching marshmallows get toasted while talking with friends. There’s something about sitting in the quiet of the woods and just having a special primal moment.

This cocktail has everything from graham crackers and marshmallow fluff to decorate the rim, to the delicious taste of Vanilla Vodka, Chocolate liquor, and of course fire to complete the feeling of camping. I only ask that you use glasses that are designed for drinks to be set on fire and that you wait until the fire is out before drinking…I feel like I shouldn’t have to say that, but then I went on Youtube and saw some videos that changed my mind. 2 tablespoons marshmallow creme/fluff

4 graham crackers

1 packet hot chocolate

3 mini marshmallows

2 ounces marshmallow vodka (vanilla or whipped cream vodka would work too)

2 ounces chocolate liqueur (such as Godiva™ or Creme de Cacao)

1-ounce heavy cream

1-ounce high-proof alcohol (such as Bacardi™ 151)

1.) Crush graham crackers very fine. I do this by placing them in a plastic bag and rolling a rolling pin over them. Then mix with hot chocolate mix. Rim martini glass by first dipping in marshmallow creme and then dipping in the graham cracker mixture.

2.) Skewer three mini marshmallows with a toothpick and rest on the side of the glass.

3.) In a shaker with ice, combine vodka, chocolate liqueur, and cream. Shake vigorously and strain into prepared glass.

4.) Gently float the high-proof alcohol on the surface of the drink. ***You can do this, by pouring the alcohol over the back of the spoon. What you want is for the alcohol to mostly float on the surface so it can be burned off.

5.) Carefully light with a kitchen torch or lighter. Toast your marshmallows on the flame and enjoy once the alcohol has burned off. ***If you are scared of fire, I would suggest using alcohol that is 100 proof. I did this and when I lit it, it didn’t burst into flame but the flame seemed to gently go around the top of the glass. The flame was blue too, so it might be hard to see if you have the lights on. If you tell anyone at a liquor store what you’re trying to do, they will probably know how to help you find the right liquor.
