Thankful for Maniology’s November Nail Subscription Box

Updated: Dec 23, 2023

Autumn is absolutely gorgeous right now! It’s not just the leaves changing color, which would be enough, but it’s the sweaters, the pumpkin spice latte’s, the fireplace smell that drifts through the neighborhood. It’s absolutely romantic. This is why I chose Autumn to be my middle name (also, I was born in October, so it’s even more fitting). Last month I featured a Maniology bundle that I got just for Halloween. This month, I’m going to feature one of their monthly boxes. Just as a heads up, I LOVE it!

When I think of it by month, October’s focus really isn’t about fall. It’s about candy, dressing up, and having fun. When I think of fall, I think of November. The leaves are really super colorful then, it’s definitely colder (at least here in Massachusetts), and people everywhere break out their sweaters and flannel. The sun doesn’t come out as much, and the days are shorter, which means it’s prime time to snuggle up with a hot tea and read a good book and not feel like you should be out doing anything. Life slows down, and that’s not a bad thing. When I opened this month’s Maniology box, I have to say; it embodied all of that feel-good fall flavors. I’ll be listing all the items from this box if you would like to purchase them yourself.

The monthly boxes include two polishes (this month was a forest green and gold), two stamping plates, a stamper, and a scraper, as well as a special gift, which was this pineapple hand lotion.

Today I’m going to put all these items together to make an elegant November fall look and show you how to do the same!

Before we begin, if you find it difficult to pick up designs with the stamper, take your nail file and run it very, very gently over the stamp. This will make it foggy, unfortunately, but it will also help pick up the designs.

1.) As always, start with clean fingernails. Old polish removed, clipped, shaped, and buffed. I also like to start with O.P.I’s Ridge Filler, which helps the polish go on nice and smooth.

2.) For this look, I painted all my nails but my ring fingers in Maniology’s “Cozy” Gold. The ring fingers I did in their “Crisp.” Both were featured in this box.

3.) I used the Maniology stamping plate called “Maniology MXM041”. I thas both a houndstooth pattern as well as a beautiful moth.

4.) I took the Crisp paint, picked up the houndstooth pattern with the scraper and stamper, and placed it on each nail painted gold.

5.) Next, paint the moth in Cozy and place it in the middle of the ring finger. The gold should come out beautifully against the green.

6.) Cover all your nails in a clear top coat of your choice and enjoy!
