If you’re here for the Hungarian Jelly Cookie Recipe, here it is!!!

Instructions:

1.) Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.

2.) Mix all the ingredients EXCEPT THE JELLY until it forms a soft dough.

3.) Spray a 17 x 11in pan with a 1-inch rim with cooking spray. Take 1/2 of the dough and press it into the bottom of the pan.

4.) Spread 1-2 jars of Strawberry Jam on the dough.

5.) Take the other half and roll it into small dough snakes line the edge of the pan, and create a lattice in the center with about a 1 1/2 to 2-inch gap between the dough snakes.

6.) Pop this into the oven to bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes!

7.) LET TO COOL FOR 1 HOUR!!! The Jelly is EXTREMELY HOT and I don’t want you to burn yourself.

8.) Cut on the diagonal Lattices and using a fork gently lift the cookies out and put them on a plate to enjoy. Goes well with coffee or tea!

Hope you like this post and I wish you a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a Fantastic New Year!!! -Heather Autumn
