My TOP Valentine Manicure Ideas!

I love to do my own nails which you probably already know if you’ve seen my “End of Summer Nails” and my “How to do a Manicure at Home” posts. I really try to make it a self-care ritual, by buffing, letting them soak, doing my own hand massage with some nice lotion, and giving them a nice fresh coat of paint.

Within the last year though, I have started investing in some nail stamps by a company called Mo-You London. Their stamps seem to work really well, and they’re reusable and can work with your own polish so long as it’s heavily pigmented like OPI’s stuff.

There are so many options for Valentine's nails, but for me personally, I love how pink looks, and considering how cold it is up here in Massachusetts during February I wanted to use the MoYou London Nail Stamp Called “Festive #06”. It has two really cute heart stamps that look like they should be on a sweater!

So after buffing and shaping my nails, I put on a coat of the O.P.I Ridge Filler. Honestly, this was a happy mistake. I bought it at first thinking it was white nail polish, but it dries clear, and when you put polish over it, it just makes it look so smooth! So I highly recommend using it.

After this dried, I used O.P.I “Flip Flops & Crop Tops” (pink) and the O.P.I “Alpine Snow” (white) on my ring finger as a base.

I like using O.P.I for the nail stamps because it’s so highly pigmented and the images come out really well. I put the small hearts on my ring finger and then the large heart stamp I did in the “Alpine Snow” on my thumbs. I LOVED the outcome and I hope you do too!
